Venture Financing (A PE/VC approach) 

Objectives: 

Financial valuation is used to derive a value estimate of a privately-held firm or start-up. It is always one of the key issues faced during negotiations between investors and owners.  This module is designed to help develop an understanding of the private equity and venture capital industry, financial valuation, and pricing of non-quantitative components in term sheet. Participants will go through the entire process of financing from angel/early series venture capital to exit strategy. Through the understanding of venture financing, participants will be better equipped to value the worth of a private firm/start-ups at different stages of growth.
